Last year, I taught myself how to make video and post it on my website . . . and it’s had a great response, but you know what?
It wasn’t that easy to do, and it was VERY time consuming!
So I want to bring your attention back to audio. Why? Audio is still so darn EASY.
Now, I like a good challenge, especially a technological one, but there’s something about audio that I love even more – it’s super simple!
I can record audio in my PJs, and even on a “bad hair day,” I can record a short audio clip and post it to my website within 5 minutes!
For a coach, just “having” a website and/or a newsletter is a major accomplishment. But if you aren’t using audio yet, then you’re missing out on the opportunity to deepen your personal connection with your website visitors and making it easier for your potential clients to pick up the phone and call you.
What you write on your website, is of course, important, but audio will amplify the effect of your words. The web is, for the most part, impersonal. If someone likes what you are saying, they feel more of an affinity to you, more of a personal connection.
So What's the EASIEST Way to Post Audio?
In the past, adding audio to your site wasn't that easy. You had to either spend hours learning how to do it yourself, or pay someone else to record it and host it for you, and there were really complicated audio formats, where people had to have a special player to listen. It was NOT fun!
