Ok, I have renewed faith in the internet. You may know that I sell my own ebooks -- ebooks are a beautiful idea -- someone can go to your website, pay for the book and download it . . . without you ever having to do anything. Everthing is automated -- and frictionless!
In fact, I'm teaching a class on how to do ebooks now. Ebooks are easy.
But I haven't ventured too far in the world of physical products -- cd's, dvd, etc. Frankly, I never wanted to mess with physical products. I thought it was too much trouble. THAT may be changing.
A few weeks ago, I entered a contest. All I had to do was answer a question and post my answer on a blog. Whoever gave the best answer, won. Guess what? Yeah . . . I won! And the prize? I won a DVD on how to make your own DVD. Now isn't that fitting!
So stay tuned for my new DVD -- I learned how easy it was to create it -- yes, I had to teach myself some new recording software. But I LIKE to learn new things, and it was a LOT more doable than I thought.
Curious about my winning response? The question was -- What's the 1 thing that limits or prevents you from reaching your goals with your efforts to earn money online?
My response: Not seeing the big picture and trying to do it all myself — learning all the technology, responding to changes online and not hiring out – having the “mindset” (excuse) of “It will take me longer to teach someone else, so I might as well do it myself.” With the help of the 4 Hour Work Week, I have started to turn over routine tasks to others and automate more.
