Just thought I would pass along a cool resource.
It's at http://www.snipurl.com
Snip URL allows you to shorten a lengthy url.
I've known about http://www.tinyurl.com for awhile, but I never
liked the way it uses random characters to shorten the url.
Snip URL allows you to create a short url with a "nickname",
so that it makes sense to the reader (and to you!)
For instance, here's the "snipped" version of a link pointing to
an article that I wrote:

Using a shorter link allows you to be certain that your link won't
"wrap" or break in the text of an email.
Snip URL also allows you to track how many people click on
your link.
And best of all, it's free!
